The piece represents a fan for home use carefully carved out of wood. The process to make it is complex, slow and time consuming. These three qualities stress the absurdity of undertaking such a task only to obtain a beautiful and completely useless object.

Yet, instead of offering the true solution, this “fan” merely serves to entertain us.
