Anatomy of reality (HK416 – FEATHER) drawing
Anatomy of Reality is a new body of work expanding the Encounter Place series. Anatomy of Reality includes both colorful drawings and 3D printed sculptures. Each work is an encounter place in which two objects of opposite nature gradually transform from one into the other . Where one form represents something soft, harmless and natural (e.g. a feather of a peacock), the other form is a man-made object associated with violence or control (e.g. a machine gun). Each piece is an attempt to express the complexity of reality. In my drawings the objects are filled-in with primary colours. Where forms overlap, colours blend creating a third color. The resulting image is a fragmented composition exposing the many facets of reality.
